World War II vets receive Bronze Stars after 62 years

Gen. Ronald E. Keys presents Francis Goldberg a Bronze Star at a ceremony in Washington, D.C., Sept. 9. Five Bronze Stars were presented to World War II veterans. The paperwork for the medals had been misfiled and rediscovered more than 60 years later. The men were unaware they were supposed to receive the medals. General Keys is commander of Air Combat Command. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Cohen A. Young)
