Eglin receives award for historic building restoration
Harsh weather ravaged the Cape San Blas keepers' quarters (left) over the years. That building and one other, located on a portion of Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., were both restored to their original appearance. The base's Cultural Resources Branch received a Florida Preservation Award for the restoration effort. (Courtesy photos/Lynn Shreve and Sandy Nelson)
