Bagram team parks 2,000th transient aircraft
Maj. Timothy Coger uses specially marked paddles to direct a C-17 Globemaster III into its parking spot at Bagram Air Base, Afghanistan, Sept. 2. The C-17, from the 62nd Airlift Wing at McChord Air Force Base, Wash., was the 2,000th transient aircraft to land at Bagram for Air Expeditionary Forces 1 and 2, which began May 7. That number equates to an average of 17 aircraft transiting Bagram daily. Major Coger is the commander of the 455th Expeditionary Maintenance Squadron at Bagram and is deployed from Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany. (U.S. Air Force photo/Maj. David Kurle)
