B-52s arrive at Andersen
A 23rd Expeditionary Bomb Squadron B-52 Stratofortress taxis on the airfield after landing at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, Aug. 30. The aircraft, from the 5th Bomb Wing at Minot AFB, N.D., is one of six scheduled to deploy to Andersen for four months. Six aircraft and approximately 300 Airmen will be deployed here through January. In addition to enhancing regional security and demonstrating the U.S. commitment to the western Pacific, Airmen will take part in several integrated training opportunities.
