Peace is our profession

Minot Air Force Base's Missile Alert Facility B-1 is one of 15 91st Space Wing MAFs scattered across northwest North Dakota. Each contains living quarters and support equipment for the facility manager, alert facility chef and security personnel. Buried below the MAF are the equipment area and launch control center used by the missile combat crew to control and monitor Minuteman III missiles in dispersed underground launch facilities.
