Jungle warfare training

Airman 1st Class Scott Vault finds out just how thick jungles are firsthand during his first navigation mission at the Jungle Warfare Training Center at Camp Gonsalves, Okinawa, on July 25. Thirty Airmen from the 18th Communications Squadron at Kadena Air Base, Japan, attended the weeklong course, which included land navigation and other skills, culminating in an endurance course on the final day. The 18th CS is the first non-combat support unit to go through this training. (U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Airman Jeremy McGuffin)
