Jungle warfare training
Staff Sgt. Steve Cheatham goes over grid coordinates with Capt. Robert Bonner (center) and his team before they set out on their first navigation mission during jungle warfare training at Camp Gonsalves, Okinawa, Japan, on July 25. Thirty Airmen from the 18th Communications Squadron at Kadena Air Base, Japan, attended the weeklong course at the Jungle Warfare Training Center, which included land navigation and other skills, culminating in an endurance course on the final day. The 18th CS is the first non-combat support unit to go through this training. Sergeant Cheatham is chief instructor at the training center. (U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Airman Jeremy McGuffin)
