Exercise Green Lightning
A B-2 Spirit is refueled by a KC-10 Extender over Australia during exercise Green Lightning on Tuesday, July 25. The KC-10 and B-2 are from the 36th Expeditionary Wing at Guam. The exercise will test U.S. capabilities and provide operational familiarity in the region for the Pacific bomber presence as well as serve to enhance relations with the Australians.
