Khobar Towers 10th Anniversary

Rafael Haun, the son of Capt. Leeland Timothy Haun, is presented the Gold Medal of Remembrance by Lt. Gen. Stephen G. Wood on Sunday, June 25, at Arlington National Cemetery, Va. Captain Haun was one of 19 Airmen who died in the terrorist bombing of Khobar Towers at Dhahran Air Base, Saudi Arabia, on June 25, 1996. Family members and friends of the Airmen lost in the Khobar Towers bombing gathered for a remembrance ceremony. General Wood is the Air Force deputy chief of staff for strategic plans and programs.
