Tower maintenance

Airmen mount an AS-1181 antenna to the Glideslope antenna tower Wednesday, March 29, 2006, at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Ariz. The antenna was remounted to comply with lightning protection standards. It connects a very high frequency radio with the flight check office, which verifies calibration and alignment of airfield navigational equipment. The Airmen are airfield systems journeymen with the 355th Communications Squadron. (U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Airman Christina D. Ponte)
