Tower maintenance
Senior Airman Scott Ponte mounts an AS-1181 antenna to the Glideslope antenna tower Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Ariz. The antenna was remounted to comply with lightning protection standards. It is used to connect a very high frequency radio with the flight check office, to verify calibration and alignment of airfield navigational equipment.
