Combat arms training
Staff Sgt. Christopher Oshana fires a Beretta M-9 pistol for proficiency training at the MacDill Air Force Base, Fla., small arms range Monday, March 27, 2006. Combat arms training and maintenance, or CATM, instructors are required to fire 500 rounds a year on each small arms weapon they teach in order to stay proficient.
