Controllers keep aircraft moving
Senior Airman Stephen Boniol monitors a KC-135 Stratotanker as it rolls on its takeoff run May 18 at an air base in Southwest Asia. Airman Boniol and fellow air traffic controllers use binoculars to monitor everything on the flightline from moving aircraft to support equipment and foreign object debris. Airman Boniol is a native of Glenmora, La., and is deployed from Alexandria Air National Guard Base, La. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. Joshua Garcia)
