Medics leave dust behind

SATHER AIR BASE, Iraq (AFPN) -- Maj. (Dr.) J.T. Tokish checks Army Specialist Benjamin Arrigo, Headquarters Battalion 1-320, Victory Base Complex, for swelling at the new medical clinic at Sather Air Base. He is an orthopedic surgeon with the 447th Expeditionary Medical Squadron which recently moved from old temper tents to a new 15,000-square foot modular clinic at Sather Air Base, Baghdad International Air Base, Iraq. The new clinic more than doubles the space available to the deployed medical team that provides primary and emergent medical care to Airmen at the air base and also to Department of Defense contractors, U.S. Army and Marines and Iraqi military forces based at the sprawling Victory Base Complex located at BIAP.
