X-ray eyes
YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan -- Tech. Sgt. Neil Wilke (right) and Senior Airman Jonathan Keller measure the distance between their Lorad portable X-ray equipment and the crew door of a C-130 Hercules aircraft inside a hangar here. The Airmen are checking the door frame for structural cracks. The nondestructive inspection technicians assigned to the 374th Maintenance Squadron here use the X-ray and advanced technology to examine the uniformity, quality and serviceability of components of assigned and in-transit aircraft.
