Pakistan Earthquake Relief
BAGRAM AIR BASE, Afghanistan -- Master Sgt. Scott L. Leakin attaches a parachute to relief supplies destined for Pakistan. A loadmaster with the 517th Airlift Squadron, his C-130 air dropped 14 pallets of supplies into the country, devastated by an Oct. 8 by a magnitude 7.6 earthquake. It was the Air Force's first such airdrop. Soldiers and Airmen here assemble approximately 20,000 pounds of food, blankets, and supplies for the drop. To date, more than 180,000 pounds of food, water, cots and medical supplies have been flown out of Bagram headed for Pakistan. Master Sgt.
