Operation Enduring Freedom
BAGRAM AIR BASE, Afghanistan -- Senior Airman James Maskal, inspects the feed shoot on an A-10 Thunderbolt II gatling gun during a recent phase inspection here. A-10s are inspected every 400 flying hours. In September, A-10s here flew 380 direct close-air support sorties supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.
