Learning detainee operations
FORT LEWIS, Wash. -- Airmen watch as instructors demonstrate proper safety techniques for extracting a detainee from a cell during a detainee operations training class here. Trainees are taught how to correctly enter and leave a cell while safely controlling either a hostile or compliant detainee. The class teaches Airmen how to humanely care for and control detainees.
