Meals Ready to Eat
ELLINGTON FIELD, Texas - Senior Airmen Palmer Eden and Dennis Horning use a pallet jack Sept. 25 to maneuver a shipment of meals ready to eat to the end of a trailer where a forklift will load them into helicopters. Aircraft activity increased dramatically at the airfield in support of the Hurricane Rita relief effort. Active duty, Guard and Reserve components of the Air Force, Army and Coast Guard filled the parking ramp to deliver supplies that included medicine and bottled water.
