Little Rock welcomes China hurricane aid
LITTLE ROCK AIR FORCE BASE, Ark. -- Col. Jac Starkey (left) and Tech. Sgt. Daniel Bomar talk with Hu Yeshun after the arrival of a Chinese humanitarian aid shipment for Hurricane Katrina relief operations. It marked the 17th international aid flight to land here since Sept. 5, delivering a combined 934 tons of relief supplies. Colonel Starkey is commander of the 314th Mission Support Group, Sergeant Bomar is the kennel master for the 314th Security Forces Squadron, and Mr. Yeshun is consul general for the People's Republic of China.
