Civilian ensures Fourth of July celebration goes off with bang
SEYMOUR JOHNSON AIR FORCE BASE, N.C. -- Trevor Howett sets off a 5-inch shell during a Fourth of July celebration as his wife, Christine, looks on during the 30-minute gala. Mr. Howett's uncle, Bob Howett, of the 4th Civil Engineer Squadron, has been putting on fireworks shows here since the 1980s. This year, his team will set off more than 300 shells plus another 300 during the finale. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman J.G. Buzanowski)
