C-17s cross globe to assist international exercise
OVER AUSTRALIA -- Army paratroopers apply camouflage to their face before a nighttime airdrop from a C-17 Globemaster III on June 19 over Rockhampton, Australia, as part of the Talisman Saber 2005. Six C-17s from McChord Air Force Base, Wash., and Charleston AFB, S.C., participated in the airdrop as part of the international military exercise designed to improve combat readiness.
