Air Guard, Navy train together
Seaman Samantha Lynch, an aviation machinist's mate with Strike Fighter Squadron 2, Naval Air Station Lemoore, Calif., worked alongside her Air Force counterparts from the Wisconsin Air National Guard's 115th Fighter Wing in Madison, during a two-week air-to-air combat skills training mission at NAS Key West, Fla. As part of the exercise, the aircraft maintainers participated in a swap program that had Air Guard maintainers helping to launch FA-18F Super Hornets and Navy maintainers doing the same with F-16C Fighting Falcons.
