Airmen venture to New Horizons

LAS FLORES, El Salvador -- Master Sgt. Don Hawk uses a hand trowel to finish part of a concrete foundation for a school here. Reserve civil engineers from Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, are deployed to New Horizons 2005, a readiness training exercise providing humanitarian-assistance projects to help citizens of El Salvador. The exercise hones the Airmen's skills as they build schools, clinics and other projects. Sergeant Hawk is assigned to the 445th Civil Engineer Squadron. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Karen J.
