Airmen aid Nevada flood effort

NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE, Nev. -- Staff Sgt. Leo Cruz (right) and Senior Airman Reginald Hobbs load bundles of empty sandbags onto an HH-60G Pave Hawk helicopter here Jan. 11. Four helicopters from here and a C-130 Hercules from the Nevada Air National Guard delivered the sandbags and evacuated 118 students and 19 staff members from a youth center in Caliente, Nev., after flooding cut off ground access to the facility. Sergeant Cruz is an aerial gunner assigned to the 66th Rescue Squadron here; Airman Hobbs is an avionics specialist assigned to the 763rd Maintenance Squadron.
