Flaming training
MISAWA AIR BASE, Japan -- American and Japanese firefighters demonstrate how to extinguish an aircraft fire at a fire training facility here Nov. 19. The training was the first to involve firefighters from neighboring Japanese cities. This was also the first time many of the Japanese firefighters had trained with a live fire.
