Defender Challenge
LACKLAND AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Federal Agent Brian Nestler blasts targets down range with his machine gun during the Defender Challenge 2004 combat weapons event. Agent Nestler is on the Department of Energy team. The annual Defender Challenge here pits security forces teams from Air Force major commands, the Royal Air Force Regiment and the Department of Energy against each other in events that test marksmanship, tactics, physical fitness and teamwork.
