Barrel nut team gets C-130s back in the air

Master Sgt. Richard Tarrence poses with a wing-joint barrel nut April 22 at an air base in Southwest Asia. Sergeant Tarrence was part of a 30-person team assigned to inspect C-130 Hercules for defective barrel nuts and replace them without sacrificing mission effectiveness. The team was named the wng's team of the month for March. The defective barrel nuts removed from the C-130s are now in the team's trophy room.
