Air Force drops puck on Navy
CHARLESTON AIR FORCE BASE, S.C. (AFPN) -- Karl Nichols races to beat a Navy player to a loose puck during an exhibition hockey game held Feb. 8 at the North Charleston Coliseum. Nichols helped lead the Air Force team to an 8-6 victory, scoring two goals and an assist. The game was part of the South Carolina Stingrays Military Appreciation Night honoring those serving their country. Charleston-based servicemembers made up the teams.
