KABUL, Afghanistan -- Maj. Mitch McDonald (right) and his crew reconfigure their aircraft's cargo deck before moving Afghan soldiers Aug. 15 from Kabul International Airport to Shindand National Airport. The Oklahoma Air National Guard aircraft and crew helped move 440 soldiers, 29 U.S. embedded training team advisers and eight Afghan interpreters from here to Shindand to retake control of government property seized as a result of factional fighting in the area.
