Hangin' traps
TALLIL AIR BASE, Iraq -- Staff Sgt. Chuck Gumbus hangs an insect trap on a tree here. The trap is used to catch sand flies. Airmen have set more than 20 traps on the installation and have caught and examined more than 500 sand flies to see if they are carrying parasites that cause diseases. Sergeant Gumbus is assigned to the 4077th Expeditionary Medical Group. (U.S. Air Force photo By Tech. Sgt. Carrie Bernard)
