Tuskegee Airmen visit Pentagon
At the Pentagon April 20, Tuskegee Airmen Alexander Jefferson (right) and James Warren admire artwork depicting fellow Tuskegee Airmen. Four Tuskegee Airmen and retired Lt. Gen. Russell Davis were in Washington to meet with Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. Norton Schwartz and Vice Chief Gen. William Fraser III en route to visit Airmen deployed to several countries in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility. The Airmen will visit the 332nd Air Expeditionary Wing whose origins trace back to the 332nd Fighter Group and the Tuskegee Red Tail Flyers. (U.S. Air Force photo/Scott M. Ash)
