Senior Airman Joseph Northcutt attaches a hydraulic test hose to check a KC-135 Stratotanker steel brake unit for leaks April 17 at an air base in Southwest Asia. The base hydraulic shop supports all of the C-135 airframes in the U.S. Central Command's area of responsibility. Airman Northcutt is a hydraulics journeyman with the 379th Expeditionary Maintenance Squadron, and is deployed from Fairchild Air Force Base, Wash., in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom and Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa.
