Sand fly man
TALLIL AIR BASE, Iraq -- Capt. Keith Blout, an entomologist, from the School of Aerospace Medicine, Brooks City-Base, Texas, is deployed to the 332nd Expeditionary Medical Group. He is sorting sand flies and mosquitoes from a collection of insects gathered in insect light traps set here. Additionally, samples from throughout the region are sent to him for analysis to identify DNA of the parasites which cause cutaneous leishmaniasis. (U.S. Air Force photo by Master Sgt. Lance Cheung)
