Tuning in
KABUL, Afghanistan -- Staff Sgt. Vincent Bess maintains an antenna on the roof of the Army's Criminal Investigative Division's personal security detail element here. After installing a new repeater system and setting up the antenna, the improved radio communications helped provide better security for convoys rolling in and out of the Afghanistan capital. Sergeant Bess is a ground-radio technician with the 455th Expeditionary Operations Group at Bagram Air Base, Afghanistan. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Andre Locust)
