New dorms for airmen
KIRKUK AIR BASE, Iraq -- Capt. Robert Russo (left) and Tech. Sgt. Jerry Draper talk with contractors about safety requirements for new dorms being constructed here. The buildings are scheduled to open Dec. 1. They will house up to 1,664 airmen in 13 buildings with six to eight people to a room. Each dorm will feature its own latrine with 14 sinks, eight toilets and eight showers. Both airmen are assigned to the 506th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron here.
