Parent pins

WASHINGTON -- Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. John P. Jumper places a parent pin onto Jennifer Scali's lapel at a Pentagon ceremony May 7. Scali is the mother of Senior Airman Dominic Scali, an aircraft maintenance specialist with the Washington D.C. Air National Guard's 113th Fighter Wing at Andrews Air Force Base, Md. The presentation was part of a larger ceremony in which parents of Air Force Reserve, Guard and active duty airmen were recognized for their contributions to national defense. Airmen can sign up at http://www.ygof.com to have a pin sent to their parents to recognize their support for the Air Force. The pin is similar to the employer pin recently sent to the civilian employers of Air Force reserve and guardsmen. (U.S. Air Force photo by Larry McTighe)
