New Advanced Extremely High Frequency satellite
Gen. C. Robert Kehler, commander of Air Force Space Command, and Mr. Kevin Bilger, vice president and general manager of Global Communications Systems at Lockheed Martin, unveil the plaque describing the new Advanced Extremely High Frequency satellite model. The one-quarter scale model was donated to AFSPC April 1 by Mr. Bilger on behalf of Lockheed Martin. The first AEHF satellite is scheduled to be launched the last quarter of 2010.
