Airmen trace roots of independence during Air Force Week in Philadelphia
Gen. Arthur J. Lichte, Air Mobility Command commander, joins members of the Parade of Uniforms exhibit for a photo opportunity during Air Force Day at Independence Hall, May 27, in conjunction with Air Force Week - Philadelphia. The Parade of Uniforms exibit is the largest private collection of vintage Air Force uniforms owned and showcased by Tech. Sgt. Jack Waide stationed at Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska. The week is designed to broaden awareness of the U.S. Air Force's role in the war on terrorism and strengthen support for Airmen serving worldwide in defense of freedom.
