Tomb of the Unknown Soldier memorial ceremony
World War II widow Colette Drake attends her 44th consecutive memorial ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, May 25, underneath the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. The 87-year-old Kansas City, MO. native was married to Major Raymond Drake who died in December of '64 - 18 years after receiving wounds in the D-Day invasion at Normandy. Officiating the ceremony was U.S. Air Forces Europe Commander, Gen. Roger Brady who joined four other French and American representatives in laying a wreath and paying respects.
