These blades look sharp

Tech. Sgt. Joseph Vigil performs a final inspection of blades from the fan assembly of a KC-135 Stratotanker engine Jan. 8 at an air base in Southwest Asia prior to handing them to Tech. Sgt. Eric Peterson to place back in the engine. The fan assembly is inspected every 1,500 hours of engine run time and during the inspection the blades are examined for any defects that would prevent the engine from operating properly. Both sergeants, assigned to the 379th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, are deployed from McConnell Air Force Base, Kan. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. Joshua Garcia)
