Village of Hope students get real payday
Master Sgt. John Hudson and members of the 557th Expeditionary Red Horse Squadron, headquartered at Balad Air Base, Iraq, pay out nearly $10,000 to 120 students March 13 at the Red Horse Village of Hope school in Hawr Rajab, Iraq. Similar to a technical school, Iraqi students are taught rebuilding skills such as masonry, electrical and plumbing. Sergeant Hudson, an Air Force Reserve Command logistics technician who worked in an accounting department in the civilian sector for 11 years, oversaw the payday. (U.S. Air Force photo)
