Airmen provide FAST coverage, ensure asset safety

Senior Airman Rosie Munoz, a member of a 332nd Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron Fly Away Security Team, scans the area for threats while a 777th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron C-130 Hercules unloads cargo at a remote location in Iraq. FAST members are equipped with an array of gear, including an M-4 Carbine rifle and 9mm pistol, to provide protection for aircraft transiting airfields where security is unknown or additional measures are needed to counter local threats. They also provide security for distinguished visitor and detainee movement flights. Munoz is deployed from Andrews Air Force Base, Md. She grew up in Seoul, South Korea, and calls El Paso, Texas, home as well. (U.S. Air Force Photo/Tech. Sgt. Erik Gudmundson)
