Retired general becomes Air Force's newest fighter ace
Retired Lt. Gen. Cleveland (third from right) was deployed to South Korea in March 1952, where he flew F-86s as a flight commander with the 4th Fighter Interceptor Wing at Kimpo Air Base. Fifty-five years after the Korean War, the Air Force has recognized General Cleveland as a fighter ace for his accomplishments of five MiG-15s kills and one probable. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt.
