Manas NCO donates art to fund surgeries for needy children
Tech. Sgt. Robert Sommers adds detail to a painting he is working on Jan. 14 at the 76th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadro at Manas Air Base, Kyrgyzstan, on his off-duty time. Sergeant Sommers sells the paintings he creates from leftover wood scraps and donates the proceeds to a local heart foundation that helps pay for heart surgeries for children whose parents are unable to pay for the surgeries themselves. Sergeant Sommers is the 376th ECES operations management NCO in charge. (U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Airman Tabitha Kuykendall)
