Staff Sgt. Ed Lewis inspects a C-130 Hercules at a forward operating base during a mission Jan. 28 to central Africa. Sergeant Lewis is a 37th Airlift Squadron flight engineer from Ramstein Air Base, Germany.The aircraft utilized by the 37th AS in this mission were C-130E models constructed in 1963 and veterans of nearly every conflict America has faced in the ensuing 45 years.
