PACAF Airmen combat-train with Thailand, Singapore

Senior Airman Paul Tamura downloads travel pods from an A-10 Thunderbolt II after its arrival Jan. 27 at the Korat Royal Thai Air Base, Thailand, from Osan Air Base, South Korea. Six A-10s from the 25th Fighter Squadron arrived in Thailand to participate in Exercise Cope Tiger 2008. Airman Tamura is a weapons load crew member in the 51st Aircraft Maintenance Squadron of the 51st Fighter Wing, at Osan AB. The Thai-, Singaporean- and U.S.-hosted exercise enhances combined readiness and interoperability, reinforces U.S. commitment to the Southeast Asian region and demonstrates U.S. capability to project combined and joint forces strategically in a multilateral environment.
