Planes over water

AIR FORCE PHOTOS

Did someone call a plumber?

Tech. Sgt. Eric Miner connects a hose to a pump while draining floodwater Nov. 3 at Joint Base Balad, Iraq. The floodwater prevented maintenance technicians from accessing a radio tower, so it was pumped into an unused yard. Sergeant Miner, a utilities systems craftsman with the 332nd Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron, is deployed from McConnell Air Force Base, Kan. His hometown is Concord, N.H.
