Hawgsmoke 2008 wraps up

A pilot in an A-10 Thunderbolt II from the 442nd Fighter Wing fires the plane's 30-mm cannon at a target on the Smoky Hill Range near Salina, Kan., Oct. 16 during the gunnery portion of the Hawgsmoke 2008 competition. Fourteen A-10 squadrons from throughout the Air Force participated in Hawgsmoke, with the Idaho Air National Guard's 190th Fighter Squadron taking honors as the top team.
