SECAF visits Kirkuk
Lt. Col. Nathan Brauner, the 52nd Expeditionary Flying Training Squadron commander at Kirkuk Regional Air Base, Iraq, briefs Secretary of the Air Force Michael Donley about the squadron's mission during his visit here Oct. 14. The 52d EFTS operates fixed and rotary wing aircraft to provide ground and flight training for Iraqi pilot candidates, instructor pilots and maintenance officers in a combat environment. The secretary toured various facilities and spoke to Airmen about his vision for the overall mission within the Southwest Asia AOR and the future of the Air Force.
